Janjan and Lauren Came to Visit!

India was very excited when Janjan and Lauren came to stay. She was not allowed to come to the airport with Mummy to collect them and so had to wait till the Sunday morning to see them but it was worth the wait.

India wanted to show Janjan and Lauren Cararra Markets so we all got into our little car and set off. On the way we all sang along to "Mercy" by Duffy which became our favourite tune for the whole of our stay in Australia and we would all sing along to it.
We also sang lots of Girl Guide songs and I think one of the best ones that we enjoyed was "The Quartermaster's Stores". India knows all the words!

One night we all went to the jacuzzi at Trilogy Apartments were we were staying. It was lovely and warm and we had the whole place to ourselves.

Every morning Mummy and India would have their "morning cuddle", at time which is very special to India and Mummy. I miss our cuddles and can't wait to hold my India again.

India tried to persuade Lauren to do a bunjy jump but she wasn't going to say yes. Here India and I are at the slingshot posing for our photo which is about as close as we have to got to doing a bungy jump.... but maybe one day.

Horse Riding on Mount Tambourine

Mummy and India went horse riding and India's friend Mikaela and her Mummy Chrissie came too. They rode for 1 hour and India and Mikaela did a great job.

India's horse looked very large next to her but she did a fantastic job and the teacher said that India is a born natural!

India wants to go every week. I hope that she can.

Mikey the Bichon Frise

Our Bichon Max died and went to "puppy heaven" earlier this year and we all miss him very much. Imagine our surprise to find that staying next door to us was a Bichon Frise just like Max but called Mikey!

Every day after school India and Mummy would take Mikey for a walk at 4pm to the nearby park. He loved it and so did we.

Mikey met lots of friends in the park and we had a great time. India loved having a little dog to walk again.

We all miss Max every day and we miss India every waking moment that she is not with us. Love Mummy xxx

Sand Shoes on the Beach

India built some lace up shoes for Mummy from sand and then Mummy built some ballet shoes out of sand for India.

Mummy and India then built a huge forest of sand trees. We had a lovely time together.

Under 8's Day at Surfers Paradise Primary School

India was excited this morning to go to school as it was Under 8's day. This mean't that the children did not have to do lessons but could do a number of fun activities.....
The assault course which included a balance beam and a tunnel.

I am not sure how many children were playing with the parachute at one time but they all had fun running underneath it!

India blew some huge bubbles and she had a thoroughly enjoyable day and Mum stayed with her all day and best of all, when the activities were over India got to leave early with her Mummy...me!

Australia June 2008 with India

Doesn't she look beautiful? The face painting lady at Carrara markets does a great job and India and I have been visiting her since India was a little girl.

Also at the market we came across the Python lady who let India and Mikaela touch the Python.

Sunday Afternoon Walk

Grandad Arthur came to visit and we all went for a big walk. We wished that India could have come with us too but she was fast asleep in Australia. We decided that we will all go walking in the June when India comes to visit.

Rosie and Betty say Hi to India xxxx

Moving to a Big Bed

Thomas no longer sleeps in a cot. His new baby sister is about to arrive and so Thomas had to move into a big boy bed.

It didn't seem like a very big bed to India because there was only just enough room for her to fit in!

Happy Birthday to Thomas

And Thomas turned two....Betty, Rosie, Evie and of course Marina went along to Thomas's birthday party and helped him open up his gifts.

Thomas didn't stand a chance with all those girls there and I think they opened most of his presents for him!

Thomas was very excited when he opened India's present as he loves "Lightning McQueen" from the movie "Cars". Just look at the pictures and you might even see Marina hiding!!

When Marina had jumped out of Thomas's Lightning McQueen Marina went to play with Evie.

The Snowmen of Cottesbrooke

Jo and Lily had a fantastic time in the snow building snow men. Look at the snowmen's hair!

Lily was in charge of the snow shovel and she cleared the drive way so that Grandad could get his car out. They all decided that India would have had great fun if she had been there and they hoped that next Christmas it would snow when India was still in England.

Jo and Lily send big hugs and kisses to India and they are excited to see India this summer holiday.

Love Jo and Lily, Grandma and Grandad xxxx

Jonathan, Josie & India

Guess who is king, or is that Queen of the castle?

Puppy Love

Here you see India in her ballet outfit cuddling Max the Wonderdog. Max has recently been to the doggy hair dressers and is looking alot smarter these days. Max is missing India and keeps going into India's bedroom on a morning to check where she is.

Now that India is visiting her Dad and Nicole in Australia I think that Max will loose weight. Why? Because India is not here to feed Max his favourite treats - Turkey Schmakos.

Look At The Snow

It looks like we had a lot of snow but by the afternoon it was all gone....

Look out Max! Marina has a snowball with your name on it.

Marina Plays in the Snow

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

The very morning after India left for Australia the snow began to fall ...

Mummy was very upset that India had missed the snow but Marina managed to go outside and play in the snow. It was very cold and we all had to wrap up to keep warm. Here you see Marina with a snowball getting ready to throw it at Max!

Jonathan, Josie & India

The house is very empty without India. Josie V is the only child in the house tonight and she is snuggling with her tassle blanket that India and her made together. Josie V is borrowing India's dressing gown tonight.

Jonathan has gone on a sleepover with his friend Alex, and for a change Josie V and Jonathan are with us for the whole weekend as their Mum has gone to Rome for a mini break. Which means we are lucky enough to have J and J all the way through till Monday morning when we shall take them to school.

We were trying to think of things to do this weekend.....and have decided upon trying to get some fresh air.

Marina is going to watch a netball match with Josie on Saturday, so watch this space for some photos.
